Lincoln Park Architectural Photographs

The Lincoln Park Architectural Photographs consist of 200 historical buildings in Chicago's Lincoln Park Community, and include images of several buildings that are designated landmarks. Wanda Harold, a sociologist in DePaul University's Sociology Department, photographed these buildings in 2000, and identified each with architectural style and location. This photography project linking social ecology with urban architectural design was funded with a grant from the Lincoln Park Community Research Initiative. Digitization of the photographs was made possible in part through a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant, in association with the office of the Secretary of State Jesse White and the Illinois Digital Archives. Original photographs are held in DePaul's Special Collections and Archives Department.
