Vincentian Texts

Saint Vincent de Paul et sa Mission Sociale

This collection of digitized texts is part of the DePaul University Vincentian Studies Collection, produced by the DePaul University Libraries in partnership with DePaul’s Office of Mission and Values and the Vincentian Studies Institute. The original texts are currently held at the John T. Richardson Library’s Special Collections and Archives Department.

The bulk of these texts explore the history and traditions of the Congregation of the Mission and the Daughters of Charity, religious orders founded by St. Vincent de Paul, and the Sisters of Charity, founded by St. Elizabeth Seton. Texts are in a variety of languages.

Each text can be both browsed on this website and freely downloaded as a fully searchable PDF. This collection is updated regularly with new texts.

For more information about this collection, or the Vincentian Studies Collection, please visit our research guide, or contact DePaul University Libraries’ Vincentian Librarian.
