Building Chronology |
Opened in 1956, fundraising began in 1953 for the building named in honor of the graduates and former students who donated most of the money for its construction. The ground breaking ceremony was held on October 3, 1955 and the building was officially dedicated on December 16, 1956. The building held a 5,200 seat gymnasium, an auditorium, and classrooms. Officially closed on February 26, 2000, Alumni Hall was demolished in the summer of 2000. DePaul President: Rev. Comerford J. O'Malley, C.M. Architects: Naess & Murphy.
