Content Description	Sharp angled view of the front of “the Ray”, exterior is brick and limestone. Several cars are parked on the east side of the street. Portion of the Student Center is reflected in the window. Two people are walking north; three bicycles are visible in the bike rack.
Building Chronology	Completed in the fall of 1999, this four-story fitness facility was named for Ray Meyer, DePaul basketball coach from 1942-1984. The building is also known as "The Ray". Built on the site of the former Lyceum building, the interior of the building was developed as an “industrial loft.” Exposed structural elements were painted and left intact. All handrails were designed to evoke an industrial theme with stainless-steel cables and turnbuckles. DePaul President: Rev. John P. Minogue, C.M.
