The NCA's job is to analyze the University and its selfstudy, and as explained by one member of the evaluating team to ... assist the University in achieving the goals set forth in the selfstudy and articulate the strengths and weaknesses mentioned." The evaluating team is made up of members from different universities throughout the country. Each member has experience in the particular field he is to study. The Rec Field Will Be Repaired The recreation field, which is located next to the University Center on the Lincoln Park Campus, will soon be refurbished. In recent weeks, the field has become a mud hole because it has been used as a student parking lot. Mr. Donald Sitkiewicz, the Director of the University's Physical Plant, will ask the advice of a contractor next week to determine what needs to be done to repair the field. According to Sitkiewicz, rye grass, which grows quickly, will likely be planted. Sitkiewicz also said that he did not know how much it would cost "to refurbish the ield. When asked where the money would come from, he replied, "Out of my (the Physical Plant's) budget, somewhere/' March 4, 1977 restructuring provides a broader base from which to draw manpower and a coordinated effort in management. The restructuring of Program Council will include three committees: 1. Recurring Programs committee headed by two chairpersons, will take the responsibility for programming films and providing entertainment for the coffeehouse programs. 2. Public Relations Committee will include VideoTV programming, publicity covering all PC activities and a public relations area that will deal with student organizations to co-sponsor activities on campus during the day. 3. Special Programs/ Events is the largest committee, utilizing five to seven chairpersons, and will undertake those activities previously under the direction of the Social, Cultural and Recreational Committees.
